Dr. Jason Bacharach is a glaucoma consultant in Sonoma County, California since 1993. He is the Founding Partner as well as Medical & Research Director of North Bay Eye Associates, Inc., which is a multi-subspecialty ophthalmology practice. After two years of private practice in Dallas, Texas with William S. Harris MD at Ophthalmology Center, in 1980 Dr. Lindstrom returned to the University of Minnesota, where he spent ten years on the faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences, the last two as Full Professor and the Harold G. Scheie Research Chair. For ten years he also served as Chief of Ophthalmology at the Minneapolis Veterans Administration Hospital. He continues as Adjunct Clinical Professor Emeritus and serves as a Trustee of the University of Minnesota Foundation.
Dr. Lindstrom entered private practice in 1989 and has led the growth and expansion of Minnesota Eye Consultants, serving as Managing Partner for 15 years and Partner and Attending surgeon for 31 years. Cathleen McCabe, M.D. is one of the foremost eye surgeons practicing today and is a vital asset to The Eye Associates’ team. After Dr. McCabe received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, she went on to her residency training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the University of Miami’s School of Medicine. Dr. McCabe specializes in cataract surgery and LASIK. She has performed over 30,000 cataract surgeries and more than 17,000 LASIK procedures. She also performs laser treatments for glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
Dr. McCabe has received many prestigious and esteemed awards for her work in Ophthalmology, including being named on the Premier Surgeon 250 List of the leading innovators in premium IOL cataract surgery. She was selected as a LaserVision Top 100 Surgeon for her vast experience and excellent outcomes in LASIK and refractive surgery. William Wiley, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist who has pioneered many eye procedures in the Northeast Ohio area. Dr. Wiley is the Medical Director of the Cleveland Eye Clinic. Dr. Wiley was one of the first in the area to offer his patients all laser LASIK as well as laser assisted refractive cataract surgery. Dr. Wiley participates in many clinical research studies, and because of this he is often able to offer his patients technology that is not yet widely available in most clinics in the United States. He was one of the first in the country to implant RxSight’s Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) post FDA approval. Dr. Wiley was the first in area to implant the IStent, and Hydrus MIcrostents for Glaucoma. He was one of the first in the area to implant the Tecnis aspheric, Rezoom, Panoptix, and Vivity Multifocal Intraocular lenses available for cataract surgery. He was the first to implant the Kamra Corneal Inlay for near vision. To date, Dr. Wiley has performed more than 50,000 cataract and refractive surgical procedures.
Dr. Wiley performed cataract surgery on a 1.5-pound Golden Lion Tamarin Monkey named Ana at the Akron Zoo in 2017. Ana was the smallest mammal on record in the world known to have had cataract surgery.

Dr. Blake K. Williamson, MD, MPH, MS is a third-generation eye doctor who continues the legacy of his family, which has been taking care of the great people of Louisiana for nearly 70 years. Within a few short years of private practice, Dr. Williamson has established himself as a nationally recognized surgeon, thought leader, and lecturer in the fields of advanced cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and micro invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Williamson was born and raised in Baton Rouge and has placed strong emphasis on education and academic achievement throughout his life, first as a graduate from the Episcopal School and later going on to earn Master’s degrees from both Columbia University in New York City as well as the world renowned Johns Hopkins Medical Center where he completed an ophthalmology capstone. With a goal of taking care of the people of his home state, Dr. Williamson returned to Louisiana completing his medical school and ophthalmology residency training at LSU and Tulane respectively.
Dr. Williamson is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery where he sits on the ASCRS Council of 100. He is the technology editor and a member of the editorial board for the Millennial Eye journal. He is also active on the editorial board for Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today Magazine. Dr. Williamson is one of the youngest surgeons ever to be invited as a member to the prestigious American European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery and is one of the youngest to sit on the refractive editorial board of Eye World Magazine, the official trade journal of the largest group of cataract and refractive surgeons in the United States. He has served as Program Chairman for the Southern Eye Congress and Millennial Eye Live and has been honored to serve on the program committee as expert faculty for numerous ophthalmology conferences both nationally and internationally. Dr. Williamson is considered a Key Opinion Leader and consultant for several pharmaceutical and surgical device companies and has lectured all over the world. In his free time, Dr. Williamson enjoys music and works as a disc jockey for a local FM radio station. He is also passionate about LSU sports, wake surfing, and travelling the world with his wife and their 3 little boys.
